The importance of mentors cannot be overstated. A good mentor inspires you, stretches you, connects you, develops your EQ, opens your mind and most importantly, doesn’t judge. Reads like a journal copy but my journey while being part of SEAP Future Leads of IT mentoring program looked like.
Being part of the program and having the opportunity to get to know Seema Joshi, my mentor helped me find ways for some of the common problems any individual would come across as part of career roadmaps. She showed me light and helped me soak up her wisdom based on her experience of how she tackled similar challenges.
Though the interactions happened a lot virtually due to mids of pandemic, the bond SEAP sessions helped me created with the mentors around is life long.
