With over 11 years as an accomplished Mid - Management Administration and Support Function Professional with extensive experience in IT Industry, Vidyadhar has played a significant role in government liaising with the Directorate of Industries (DoI) to get stamp duty benefit under the provisions of IT/ITES policy of the Government of Maharashtra (GoM). Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd. (PSPL), where Vidyadhar takes care of compliance (PAN India) and Admin, was the first unit in Maharashtra to get the benefit to get stamp duty benefits.He works closely with organizations like Nasscom, MCCIA and HIA on various issues especially IT policy and octroi exemption. Vidyadhar pursued matters related to octroi with PMC to correct the methodology of charging the Octroi / LBT for IT industry for duty exempted items. He has played a role in drafting the new IT/ITES policy 2015 for GoM, in close coordination with NASSCOM and DoI officials. A number of suggestions are acknowledged and incorporated in the new policy. Vidyadhar represented PSPL on the IT policy task formed by GoM to discuss IT/ITES policy 2015-2020. The GoM accepted 13 suggestions which were later incorporated in the draft policy. In addition to government liaising, Vidyadhar has deep interests in telecommunication solution designing and office setups. He is now the SEAP Secretary for the year 2015-2016.
