Since its inception in 2011, Pune Connect has established itself as the most important events for startups. This year Pune Connect is getting bigger and better than ever before! Pune Connect enables startups to showcase their products and services to corporate, VCs, and angel investors. At Pune Connect the startups get a platform to meet customers, mentors, business partners, affiliates, and investors. It is no wonder that this includes leaders of Pune’s established companies and successful entrepreneurs. Industry veterans will select the most promising startups which will be allowed to set up a showcase of their products or services at Pune Connect.
Annual General Meeting 2015
The Software Exporters’ Association of Pune held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in July 2015. Eminent guests and speakers of the calibre of Dr. Omkar Rai is Director General, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Mr. Sameer Garde, President of Philips Healthcare for South Asia at Philips India Limited, Mr. Kunal Kumar Commissioner at Pune Municipal Corporation attended the event. The new committee was formed for the year 2015-16.

On 8th Nov 2014, the Software Exporters Association of Pune’s (SEAP) flagship annual event — Pune Connect — was organized in association with NASSCOMTiE Pune, STPI, MCCIA, PuneTech, iSpirt, CIIE of IIM-A, SME Joinup, IACC, Hinjewadi Industries Association (HIA), Pune Open Coffee Club (POCC), and IPMA. The event was well-received and attended by hundreds of executives, VCs, and companies and startups. The event provided a solid platform to Pune-based start-ups to create a forum that allows companies to interact with each other, find buyers, investors, early adopters and gain visibility. A special Book “Think Pune” was also released on the occasion.

Software Exporters’ Association of Pune supports a socially relevant initiative Apropos Gumption Scholarship & Talent Search Programme (AG-STS). The program was ideated and introduced by Nagpur-based Watch Witz Technologies.

Bhimthadi 2011
SEAP is more than just an association for software exporters of Pune. The association realizes its responsibility towards the society and other varied industries. The Software Exporters’ Association of Pune (SEAP) has extended a helping hand to Baramati’s Agricultural Development Trust (ADT), the organizers of ‘BhimthadiJatra’ — an annunal event showcasing the culture, cuisine, and art of rural Maharashtra — by promising to facilitate the sale of ‘Bhimthadi’ products amongst its member companies. Under this unique tie-up, SEAP Member companies will allow ADT to set up a stall to sale Bhimthadi products at their premises on a pre-decided date to create awareness amongst its employees.
